With the first floor and top floor bedrooms plastered we have been able to deploy the paint sprayer to apply the mist and first coats of the paint. Whilst the preparation time for the sprayer is quite prolonged it does allow very quick painting of large spaces and a really smooth finish.
The oak scribes for the oak windows were installed by Graham at the end of last week and finally we can say goodbye to the scaffolding.
I have recycled some bricks from the original floor in the mill to create an internal step between the Mill and the Long Barn.
The stone mason have returned to start the lime rendering.
At the end of next week the power supply will be moved into the boiler room and we await the results of our water sample test which will dictate the type of treatment plant we will have to install.
